Stop Calling Everything Success or Failure
My Aunt Ruthie taught me not to judge everything as success or failure. Sometimes something ends because its season is over. An ending does not erase what it taught us.
Vision for a Season
God may give us vision for one season without asking us to remain there forever. A door opening does not mean we must stand in that doorway for life. We can honor what a season gave us and still move forward when it is time.
Just for Today
Recovery taught me to live one day at a time. I do not have to solve tomorrow today. I only need to do the next right thing and remember that progress matters more than perfection.
The Next Right Thing
When life feels overwhelming, looking too far ahead can make it harder. Sometimes all we need to do is take the next small step and keep moving.
I Do Not Have to Resolve Everything
I do not have to understand every disappointment or fix everything at once. Some hard seasons later reveal their purpose. No single season gets to define my whole life.
Summary
Life comes in seasons. Some bring joy, others bring lessons. I can trust the process, do the next best thing, and let each season teach me what it came to teach.
Conclusion
I do not have to know everything that comes next. I only need to be faithful to the season I am in, take the next best step, and trust that another season will come.
